Southeast RCMP are investigating the death of a 53-year-old Irishtown man, whose body was found near an off-road vehicle trail in Irishtown on March 2, 2014.

At approximately 11: 00 p.m., Riverview detachment RCMP responded to an unresponsive man, who had been found on an ATV trail off the Cape Breton Road, in Irishtown.  Members of the Moncton Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick assisted the RCMP in reaching the scene, which was only accessible by ATV.  The man, whose name is not being released pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy has been ordered to help determine cause of death, however, police do not believe foul play was involved.

The investigation continues.
