Halifax police arrest four suspects in connection to the murder investigation of Dartmouth man Matthew Anthony Penney

HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit has arrested four people in relation to the Matthew Penney homicide investigation.

Shortly before 8:00 a.m. this morning, officers executed two warrants at residences on Bras’dor Lane and Springhill Road in Dartmouth. Two men, ages 27 and 23, along with two women, ages 24 and 23, were taken into custody without incident.

On January 1st, 2014, at approximately 8:23 a.m., RCMP in Lower Sackville received a 911 call indicating a body had been located at the entrance to Oakfield Park. Matthew Anthony Penney, 26, of Dartmouth was identified as the victim of a homicide.

The matter remains under investigation.
