Alsea Wilson charged in the death of Diana Rowdon of Mississauga

Investigators from the Major Collision Bureau are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian, that had been struck by a vehicle, passed away in hospital.

On Friday, October 1, 2010, at approximately 1:30 p.m. the victim, Diana ROWDON, an 86 year-old woman from Mississauga, was walking south on the east side of Hurontatio Street. As Ms. ROWDON crossed Sherwoodtowne Boulevard, she was struck by a 2007 Silver BMW.

Initially, Ms. ROWDON’s injuries appeared to be minor; however her condition worsened in hospital and she subsequently succumbed to her injuries.

The investigation has resulted in Alsea WILSON, a 32 year-old female from Toronto, being charged with Careless Driving.

Officers from the Major Collision Bureau continue to investigate and are seeking witnesses to this collision.
