The Ottawa Police Service is requesting public assistance in identifying a body that was found in the Ottawa River.
On April 29th a call came in for a deceased male discovered in a reservoir coming from the Ottawa River.
The Ottawa Police has ruled the death to be non suspicious. The Ottawa Police require assistance in identifying the deceased male. The male is described as follows:
-Male, white, approximately 50-65yrs, approximately 5’8-6’2 (173 cm to 188 cm), approximately 190-220lbs (86 kg to 100 kg), grey unshaven beard.
The male was wearing a green fall hooded jacket, burgundy top, navy blue top, blue top with white horizontal lines, navy blue one piece long johns, blue track pants, black Doc Martens industrial boots, leather or suede work gloves.
