A 45-year-old Woodstock, N.B., man was killed in a single-vehicle crash that occurred on Route 16 in Baie Verte on May 8, 2014, when his vehicle left the road and hit a culvert.
The man was transported to Sackville Hospital where he passed away as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Sackville RCMP are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash. Impairment and distracted driving have not been ruled out as possible factors.
The name of the deceased is not being released at this time, pending notification of his family.
