Police to continue to investigate a death at a home care facility in Lower Sackville.

On May 15th, RCMP were called to a home care facility on Memory Lane. Police learned that on May 11th, 28-year-old male resident had pushed a 56-year-old male. As the result of the push and fall, the victim ended up in hospital in life threatening condition. Sadly, the victim, Gordon Longphee, passed away in hospital on May 17th. An autopsy will be performed today.

The HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit continues to investigate HRM’s 4th homicide of the year.
