A 48 year old Windsor man has been arrested by the Windsor Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit after a year long investigation.
Daniel Nickolson, 48 years of age was arrested June 4, 2014 without incident. Nickolson is charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Accessing Child Pornography.
Officers had been actively investigating Nickolson’s online habits. During the course of the investigation new incidents about Nickolson’s online activities began to surface.
Officers received credible information on June 2, 2014 that led to search warrants being executed. As a result of the search warrants, Nickolson was arrested.
The investigation into Nickolson is still ongoing and further charges are pending. Officers are reminding parents to remain vigilant regarding their children’s online activity.
