On the afternoon of June 9th, 2014 an 11 year-old female was sexually assaulted on the Oriole Trail, near Oriole Crescent in Hamilton. A male riding an e-bike approached the child and after engaging her in conversation, assaulted her.
As a result of investigation, on June 12th members of the Child Abuse Branch arrested a 21 year-old male for the assault. The Accused was held for a bail hearing scheduled for June 13th, 2014.
