On Friday, June 13, 2014, at 3 p.m., police were called for sexual assault that occurred on Thursday, June 12, 2014, in the Sandhurst Circle/Finch Avenue East area.
It is alleged that:
– a man approached a 16-year-old girl in an apartment building and engaged her in a conversation
– the man then sexually assaulted her
On Friday, June 13, 2014, at 5:30 pm, Kaila Ratnam, 57, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) two counts of Sexual Assault
He was scheduled to appear in court on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 9 a.m., at Old City Hall.
Police believe there may be more victims.
