Vehicle collision sends four youths to hospital, Lincoln, N.B.

Oromocto RCMP (District 2) is investigating a motor vehicle collision which occurred at intersection of Highways 102 and 655 in Lincoln, New Brunswick.

On October 13, 2010, shortly after 7:00 p.m., a passenger vehicle travelling north collided with an oncoming vehicle. The occupants of one of the vehicles, four women between the ages of 15 and 19 from the Oromocto and surrounding area, were transported to Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, one of which in critical condition. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

Firefighters and paramedics attended at the scene. An RCMP re-constructionist was called to investigate the crash. While the investigation is ongoing, alcohol has been ruled out as a factor in the collision.
