Hamilton man Michael McLellan charged for sexually assaulting a child

On the morning of Wednesday June 18th, 2014 an 11year-old male and 15 year-old male were approached by a male in Beasley Park who befriended them and took them back to his apartment in downtown Hamilton.  The male sexually assaulted one of the children in his apartment before police were notified. 

The Hamilton Police Service Child Abuse Branch continued the investigation that resulted in the arrest of a 49 year-old male. The accused was held for a bail hearing scheduled for June 19th, 2014.

Michael McLellan (49 years) of Hamilton

Charges:

Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, Invitation to Sexual Touching and Breach of Probation x 4
