Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of two others at 11700 Bissonnet about 4:30 p.m. on Thursday (June 19).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Smith and Senior Police Officer C. Scales reported:
At least two unknown armed male suspects entered apartment #709 at the above address and shot three males inside. The suspects then fled on foot. One male died at the scene. The other two victims were transported to area hospitals. One of them was released while the other male remains hospitalized. The motive in the shooting appears to be drug related.
