Mississauga man Kirk Williams charged in connection to a sexual assault investigation

Investigators from the Special Victims Unit have arrested a male in relation to a sexual assault that occurred in Mississauga.  

During the early morning hours of Friday, June 13, 2014, a 22 year-old female was walking in the area of Mineola Road, Mississauga, when she was accosted from behind and sexually assaulted. 

Kirk Williams, a 42 year-old resident of Mississauga, has been arrested and charged with Sexual Assault, Forcible Confinement, Overcoming Resistance by Attempting to Choke, Suffocate or Strangle and Breach of Probation.

Williams will be held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Saturday, June 21, 2014.
