On Friday, August 20, 2010, police issued a news release informing the public of an arrest made in a sexual assault investigation.
On Wednesday, October 14, 2010, police responded to a call for a sexual assault.
It is alleged that:
– the accused is a medical doctor working at several clinics in Toronto,
– on Thursday, October 7, 2010, a 26-year-old woman attended the Walk-in-Medical Clinic at 1910 Yonge Street, for a follow-up appointment with the accused,
– during the appointment the accused sexually assaulted her.
Javad Peirovy, 40, of Toronto, is charged with Sexual Assault.
He is scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Saturday, October 16, 2010, room 501, 10 a.m.
Police believe there may be more victims.
