The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing boy.

Jerome Downey-Apple, 12, was last seen on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 2 p.m., in the Weston Road/Finch Avenue West area.

He is described as black, 5’2″, 170 lbs., with a short afro and brown eyes. He was wearing a sky-blue T-shirt, cut-off blue jean shorts, white Air Jordan shoes and was carrying a dark knapsack.

Police are concerned for his safety.

Update: On Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 12:43 p.m., he was located.
