Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man in a fatal traffic accident at 1900 Binz about 9:45 a.m. today (July 9).
The victim, Joseph Doyle, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Francois and Senior Police Officer R. Davidson reported:
Mr. Doyle was driving a maroon Buick Enclave eastbound on Binz when witnesses reported seeing him slumped over the steering wheel. The Buick then veered in the westbound lane of traffic and struck another vehicle, before leaving the roadway and striking a tree.
No other individuals were injured in this incident.
