The Regina Police Service would like ask the public for their help in locating a 14 year-old female youth who is missing.

Fourteen year-old Shalonda Cappo DOB: 1999/07/29, of Regina, is described as female, Aboriginal, approximately 5’9” tall, 170 lbs, medium build, with dark, pimpled/pockmarked complexion, long brown hair, and brown eyes.  Cappo was last seen wearing a black North Face shell jacket and black shorts. Cappo was last seen Sunday, July 6th, 2014, in the 1400 block Wascana Street; she was reported missing to police ten days later on on Wednesday, July 16th.  Police believe Cappo has been active on social media since then, but in spite of several address checks and attempts to find her,  Cappo has not been located.

There is no reason to believe that Cappo has come to harm, however she is vulnerable because of her age and police need to locate her.

Update: On July 21st, fourteen year old Shalonda Cappo (99/07/29) was located at a family member’s residence in a community outside of Regina.  Cappo will be returning to Regina this week.
