Houston police have learned the identity of a woman found deceased at 5910 Wayland about 11 p.m. last Tuesday (July 22).
The victim, Lakeisha Perkins, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and J. Burton reported:
HPD patrol officers discovered the deceased woman in an abandoned warehouse at the above address. Initial autopsy results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences revealed Ms. Perkins had been assaulted prior to her death and died as a result of her injuries.
