On Thursday, October 29, 2010, the Cold Case Section of the TPS Homicide Squad charged a man in a series of homicides from the 1990s.

Peter Dale MacDonald, 52, of Toronto, has been charged with three counts of First Degree Murder.

The victims are identified as Julianne Middleton, 23, of Toronto, Virginia Coote, 33, of Toronto and Darlene MacNeill, 35, of Toronto.

All three victims were sex trade workers. Their bodies were all located in Lake Ontario, near Sunnyside pool.

The cause of death in all three homicides was strangulation.

The accused appeared in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, October 29, 2010, 9 a.m.
