Surrey RCMP would like to advise the public about charges laid against two individuals and identify other potential victims who are currently unknown by investigators.

John Wells (24 year old male, from Delta) was arrested and charged on August 13, 2014 with five counts of Luring a Child and one count of Invitation to Sexual Touching.

Kelly Pearson (24 year old male, from Delta) was arrested and charged on August 13, 2014 with three counts of Invitation to Sexual Touching, one count of Sexual Interference, and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.

The two accused have been released from custody on strict conditions including: no contact with their victims; no contact with anyone 16 years of age or under; and not to access the internet. Their offences are believed to have occurred over the internet and at a paintball field in Surrey where they regularly played in a paintball league.

Investigators have been successful at identifying some of the victims affected by Wells and Pearson’s actions, but believe there may be further victims and witnesses who have yet to come forward. The Surrey RCMP requests the public’s assistance to further this criminal investigation.
