Pierre Bossé pleads guilty to charges of aggravated assault in Kedgwick, N.B

Pierre Bossé, 44 years old, of Kedgwick, N.B., appeared in Provincial Court in Campbellton on October 27, 2010 and pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault in connection with an incident that occurred on April 25, 2010 in Kedgwick. He was sentenced to 18 months in jail in addition to the 6 months that he has already served following this incident. He is also prohibited from possessing firearms for a period of 10 years.

The charges stem from an investigation conducted on April 25, 2010 when RCMP were dispatched to a residence on Highway 260 in Kedgwick after receiving a 911 call. A 39-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious gunshot wounds to the legs. The suspect was arrested without incident on April 25 in Kedgwick.
