Southeast RCMP are investigating a fatal single vehicle crash that occurred on Route 112 in Upper Coverdale, N.B. on October 2, 2014 at approximately 9 p.m. The vehicle was travelling westbound on Route 112 when it crossed the centre line, missed a turn and left the road. The 39-year-old driver and lone occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing. Speed is believed to have been a contributing factor.
The identity of the deceased is not being released at this time.
