Police are investigating the suspicious death of three aged people who were found dead inside a Brampton home in an apparent murder-suicide. Peel Regional Police were alerted about a home at 99 Hinchley Wood Grove, near Bovaird Dr. E., on Sunday morning at around 10:40 a.m. However, there was no response from inside the home when officers arrived and so the door was smashed and three dead bodies were recovered from the home, including 61-year-old and 91-year-old men and a 57-year-old woman.

According to Const. Fiona Thivierge, “Somebody was concerned about people from this residence,” adding that “I don’t have names or relationships that are available at this time.” Furthermore, Thivierge added that police were alerted by a family member who “was trying to reach one of those parties and couldn’t reach them and they had some concern for their safety.” According to the family’s next-door neighbor, Bibi Hamid, the couple’s belonged to India and their last name was Mistry and they lived in England.

Furthermore, Hamid described the couple as “very quiet,” adding that “I’m surprised something was going on at their house.” Hamid stated that “they have two daughters and two grand-kids. You don’t hear much coming from their house. They’re friendly people.” In addition to that, Hamid alleged that “it’s sad, very sad,” adding that “both of them are so mild-mannered. She worked at a bank and he lost his job a few years ago. They never discussed any of their family problems. They were very happy to be grandparents. You can see that in their faces.”
