Halifax police continue to investigate murder of Matthew Sudds

Today marks the first anniversary of the murder of Matthew Thomas Sudds and investigators with the Major Crime Unit of the IntegratedCriminal Investigation Division continue to investigate the case.

On October 14, 2013, the body of 24-year-old Matthew Thomas Sudds was located in a ditch along Africville Road in Halifax. An autopsy was conducted the same day by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service and his death was ruled a homicide. The investigation revealed that Matthew was last seen by friends on the afternoon of October 10, 2013.
