USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 9:46 p.m., police responded to a pedestrian struck collision, near 2435 Kipling Avenue.
It is reported that:
– a 58-year-old man was crossing Kipling Avenue, mid-block, from the west-side to the east-side, south of Albion Road,
– the man crossed the southbound lanes and entered the northbound lanes,
– a 68-year-old man, travelling northbound on Kipling Avenue, driving a Lincoln Continental vehicle, struck the pedestrian with the front right bumper portion of his vehicle,
– the pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
The 68-year-old driver was arrested at the collision scene and was taken to 22 Division for further investigation.
Pedestrian has been identified as City TV cameraman Bill Atanasoff
