Police confirmed to have been called on to a house party in a quiet Mississauga neighbourhood on early Saturday morning, where two young men were reportedly found stabbed on the sidewalk outside. One of their neighbours explained that chaos erupted after the incident as everyone was “screaming, shouting like hysterical madness” about half an hour after midnight.

Resident of the area for about 14 years, Aous Poules stated that “I step outside and see kids running around — five to six running back-and-forth trying to run around call 911, ambulance.” Poules alleged that “I saw another kid across the street; he was crying, he could barely talk. It was basically out of a movie.” According to Peel police, there almost 50 to 100 people at the gathering on Rainbow Cres., near Erin Mills Pkwy. and Burnhamthorpe Rd. W., where they found a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old stabbed soon after 1:30 a.m. Const. George Tudos confirmed that one of the stabbing victims was hit in the chest and without vital signs, whom the officers tried to resuscitate but failed and shifted to a nerby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Whereas, the other victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Another resident in the street for 20 years, Amanda Avery, people were trying to stop a dark grey pickup truck that appeared to be leaving the scene. She remembered that “they were smashing the car (but) it peeled away” and “there were girls hiding behind my car, crying: “Call the cops! Call the cops.”
