As a result of a lengthy investigation by members of the Winnipeg Police Service Child Abuse Unit, Ronald Walter Peterson, 68 years-old of Winnipeg has been charged with the following offences due to his alleged involvement:
– Sexual Assault x 5
– Sexual Interference x 5
The investigation has revealed that between January 1998 and May 2014, Peterson had contact with five male victims under 16 years of age while engaged in a professional capacity as well as socializing in a public setting.
Peterson was arrested on November 13th, 2014 and released on a promise to appear.
