Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4102 Almeda about 2:45 p.m. last Friday (Nov. 21).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer R. Nunez and Officer C. Hogue reported:
The victim was in the parking lot of a gas station and convenience store when he got into an argument with another male who pulled a gun and shot the victim multiple times. The suspect, described only as a black male, fled the scene. Paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
