Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 8600 Kempwood about 1:20 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 23).
The identity of the male victim, 37, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Trometer and Officer J. Crisler reported:
The victim was driving a black Chevrolet pickup truck westbound on Kempwood when the truck left the roadway and struck two trees. The driver died at the scene. Two other passengers were possibly inside the truck and left the scene before officers arrived. No other vehicles were believed involved in the accident.
The investigation is continuing.
