Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 1100 Hamblen about 11:45 p.m. on Monday (November 24).
The victim, Angel Melchor, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Garcia and Officer C. Cardenas reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a weapons disturbance call at 4209 Irvington as well as a reported shooting at 1000 Yale. Officers later discovered Mr. Melchor deceased behind a residence at 1100 Hamblen. At this time, it has not been determined if the incidents are related.
The investigation is continuing.
