Mounties continue investigating a fatal crash that claims a Bass River man’s life in Bass River, N.B.

Richibucto RCMP have identified a suspect believed to be the driver of a stolen pick uptruck that left the scene of a fatal crash in Bass River on January 1, 2015. At this time, police are actively looking for the suspect, a 32-year-old man from Moncton, and are continuing their investigation into the fatal crash. Charges in connection with this investigation have not been laid in court which is why the suspect’s name cannot be released at this time. 

The RCMP continue to ask the public to call with any information which could assist them with this investigation. 

At the request of the family, the name of the 19-year-old man from Bass River who died in the crash will not be released.
