The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– on Friday, February 6, 2015, a woman attended Canacko's Auto Centre, 15 Elrose Avenue, to retrieve her car from service
– upon entering the shop, the owner/mechanic locked the door and sexually assaulted the woman
On Saturday, February 7, 2015, Nelson Cortez-Marin, 52, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Forcible Confinement
2) Sexual Assault
He appeared in court at Old City Hall, on Sunday, February 8, 2015.
Police are concerned that there may be other victims.
