Marijuana found in Angry Bird toy at Target’s Brampton store

Brampton – Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance after a quantity of drugs were located in a toy purchased from a Target store at 25 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton. 

On February 11, 2015, at approximately 4:40 p.m., the complainant attended the Target store located at 25 Peel Centre Drive, Brampton, to purchase an Angry Bird toy. Once at home the complainant found what appeared to be Marijuana within the package. 

Police were contacted and an investigation was commenced. Police searched the store with employees the toy was purchased at and did not locate any further suspicious packages. Surveillance video is being examined and sale records checked to determine if there is evidence to indicate who put the Marijuana in the package.
