23 year old man charged with drug trafficking in Moncton, N.B

On December 3, 2010, at around 11:50 p.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP Drug and Patrol units arrested a 23-year-old Moncton-area man for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Following the arrest, a search warrant was executed at his residence in the Elmwood Drive area in Moncton. A quantity of cocaine, marijuana and hashish was seized, along with approximately $3000.00 in cash. Also seized during the search was an automatic assault rifle and ammunition.

The man appeared in Moncton Provincial Court on Monday, December 6, 2010, to face a number of drug and firearm related charges.
