In July 2010, officers received information that led them to investigate an incident of Internet luring. As a result of these online conversations, the suspect is alleged to have set up a meeting for a sexual purpose.
Through an investigation that began with the Ontario Provincial Police Child Sexual Exploitation Section, officers with York Regional Police assisted in a lengthy investigation that led them to execute a Criminal Code search warrant at a residence on Bucksaw Drive in the City of Vaughan on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. The suspect was arrested inside the residence without incident.
