Toronto police charge Maziar Masoudi for human trafficking

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…In November 2014, the Toronto Police Service Human Trafficking Enforcement Team started an investigation into a Human Trafficking occurrence.

It is alleged that:

– a 26-year-old woman was forced into the sex-trade industry

– the woman was transported from the GTA to Calgary, where she was forced to work as a sex-trade worker for approximately one month

– the woman was forced to hand over her earnings

On Friday, April 3, 2015, Maziar Masoudi, 23, of Toronto, was arrested. He has been charged with:

1) Trafficking in Persons
2) Material Benefit
3) Procure person to be a prostitute
4) Exercise control of person for prostitution
5) Uttering Threats

He appeared in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Friday, April 3, 2015.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Milad Chehelamiran, 29, of Toronto. He is wanted on the following charges:

1) Trafficking in Persons
2) Material Benefit
3) Procure person to be a prostitute
4) Exercise control of person for prostitution
5) Uttering Threats

Police are asking the public for any information on the whereabouts of Milad Chehelamiran.

Police believe there may be more victims.
