Police arrest grandson for murder of his Mississauga grandparents

Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On Thursday, April 16, 2015, at approximately 1:03 p.m., uniform officers were dispatched to an address on Stillriver Crescent in Mississauga in relation to a possible stabbing.  Police arrived to locate a male and a female, suffering from stab wounds.

The victims, an 84 year old male and an 80 year old female, who were residents of the home, were taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.  A male was arrested just after 2:00 p.m. 

The male victim succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.  The female remains in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.

Trae WORRIE, 21 years of age from Mississauga, has been charged with First Degree Murder and Attempted Murder.  He is being held for a Bail Hearing and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton, on Friday, April 17, 2015.

Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are continuing the investigation into the series of events leading up to this incident.
