Vancouver Police are updating that eight of ten victims in the December 12th Oak Street shooting still remain in hospital. Six men and two women are being treated for various injuries related to gunshot wounds.

The VPD Forensic Identification Unit will be back at the scene again today collecting evidence. A thorough search and canvass of the surrounding neighbourhood for witnesses and any discarded evidence has been completed.

Yesterday, members of Vancouver Police Victim Services Unit canvassed the neighborhood going door to door in an effort to provide assistance to anyone who might need support or was affected by the shooting. They will continue their outreach efforts today.

The investigation is continuing and there have been no arrests made to date.
