The Integrated Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) has charged a Lower Sackville man in a child pornography investigation.
On the morning of May 20, 2015, members of the Integrated ICE unit executed a search warrant at a residence on Emily Crt. in Lower Sackville. A preliminary analysis of devices located at the residence confirmed they contained child pornography images.
Matthew David Rideout, 29, was arrested on May 22, 2015 without incident and is facing a charge of Possession of Child Pornography. Rideout was released from police custody on conditions and will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on July 21, 2015. The investigation is continuing.
