Police are also hoping the public will be able to assist in identifying a suspect captured on surveillance video shortly after the incident.

Around 8:50 p.m. on Tuesday evening, a 49 year old woman walking southbound on Victoria Drive became aware of a man following her. As she turned onto E. 43rd Avenue the man reached out and allegedly grabbed her, pulling her to the ground and groping her groin area. The woman screamed and kicked out, knocking the suspect to the ground which gave her time to get away. He then ran off eastbound on E. 43rd Avenue. The victim was not physically injured.

An intensive search in the area failed to turn up any sign of the suspect, however, follow-up investigation has uncovered surveillance images of a man, matching the description of the suspect, leaving the area after the attack.

The suspect is believed to be white, 16 to 18 years old, with a slim build, short black hair, brown eyes and good teeth. He was casually dressed in sky-blue rain jacket, pants, and a dark baseball cap.
