The Chatham-Kent Police has arrested three people in connection with a child pornography sweep conducted last week and over the weekend. The Major Crime Unit executed search warrants at various residences in Chatham-Kent and seized 6 computers and a smart phone for forensic analysis. Specific details of each investigation will not be released.These investigations are not related to one another.
Gary Nelson CHRISTNER, 60, of Chatham has been charged with possession of child pornography and making child pornography available. He was released with a future court date.
Kurtis HARDING, 18, of Chatham has been charged with possession of child pornography and making child pornography available. He was released with a future court date.
A 16-year-old male youth from Chatham has been charged with possession of child pornography and making child pornography available. He was released with a future court date. His identity cannot be released as he is a young person as defined under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
