The York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit is requesting public assistance in identifying and apprehending four suspects wanted in connection with a home invasion in the City of Vaughan.

On Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the victim, a 52-year-old female, answered the front door of her residence on Bachman Drive for two males. The suspects forced their way inside and two additional male suspects entered as well. The victim was held at knife-point in the living room by two of the suspects, while the other two ransacked the residence.

The suspects then fled the scene. The victim was not injured.

Investigators are asking for anyone who might have been in the area at this time and saw anything suspicious to contact police.

Two of the suspects are described as:

SUSPECT #1:
 Male, brown skin, approximately 32 years
 5’5”, medium build
 Speaks with a Guyanese accent
 Wearing a black hat, a black scarf covering his mouth and dark clothing
 Carry a knife with a black handle and silver blade

SUSPECT #2:

 Male, dark brown skin, mid-30s
 6’, medium build, 200 lbs
 Wearing a black hat, black scarf covering his mouth, dark clothing, white winter shoes
 Carrying a knife with a black handle and silver blade
