London newspaper box bandits finally caught

On December 30, 2010 the London Police began receiving reports of London Free Press and Toronto Star newspaper distribution boxes that were being stolen from various locations around the City of London. There were in excess of 20 boxes stolen for a value of approximately $20,000.

On Thursday January 6, 2011, at approximately 7:00 PM, the London Police attended an address on Third Street in London. At this address police located 24 stolen London Free Press and Toronto Star newspaper distribution boxes. Police have arrested and charged a 26 year old female, a 16 year old male and a 13 year old male.

Charged is 26 year old Brandi Crawford of London and the two young offenders with possession of stolen property exceeding $5000.
