On Wednesday January 12, 2011 at approximately 10 p.m. officers from West Division responded to a home invasion in the vicinity of Harwood Avenue and Kingston Road in Ajax involving six male suspects armed with handguns and knives. The victim and a female tenant were threatened but not physically injured. The victim’s cell phone was stolen. Suspects fled the residence and got into a vehicle parked nearby. They left before police arrival and have not been apprehended.
The investigation is ongoing and police do not believe this was a random act.
The suspects are all described as: male, black, between 19-23 years and wearing dark clothing.
