46 year old man Michael O’Hara missing from Vaughan home

Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing vulnerable man from the City of Vaughan.
Michael O’HARA was last seen in the area of Avocet Drive on Tuesday, January 6, 2011, at 9 a.m., when he left his residence in a silver 4-door 2009 BMW 323. This vehicle was stopped by the Ontario Provincial Police later the same day in the area of Flamboro Street and Highway 5 in the City of Burlington.

Police and family are concerned for Mr. O’HARA’s well-being.

The missing male is described as:

 Male, white, 46-years-old
 5’11”, 135 lbs
 Dirty blonde hair, balding
 Wearing a dark blue turtleneck, black vest, blue jeans, a long wool winter coat and brown lace-up boots

UPDATE: 

York Regional Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in the search for a 46-year-old male, missing from the City of Vaughan on Tuesday, January 6, 2011.
On Monday, March 7, 2011, at approximately 5:45 p.m., a citizen hiking on the Bruce Trail near Snake Road in Burlington discovered a body.
 
Following a post-mortem examination, York Regional Police sadly announces the body found was Mr. Michael O’Hara.

No foul play is suspected and investigators are now working closely with the family to help bring closure to their loss.
