The Chatham-Kent Police has arrested a man in connection with numerous frauds dating back to November 2006.

Blenheim Chevrolet contacted the police in May 2010 to report multiple frauds. They began an investigation into their own books when an audit revealed financial inconsistencies involving the sale of vehicles. They discovered that a former sales person perpetrated multiple frauds against them and their customers totaling more than $200,000.

A John Douglas LINTON, 42, of Swallow Place in Blenheim has been charged with:

Fraud Over $5000 (38 counts)
Make Forged Documents (14 counts)
False Pretences (5 counts)
Utter Forged Documents (3 counts)

He was released with a future court date.
