On Thursday, June 3, 2010, at 1:22 a.m., police responded to a pedestrian struck collision at the intersection of Dufferin Street/St.Clair Avenue West, which resulted in the death of a Toronto man.

On Thursday, January 27, 2011, Fatahal Animer, 48, of Toronto, attended Traffic Services and surrendered to police.

He is charged with:

1. Criminal Negligence Causing Death,
2. Dangerous Operation Causing Death.
