On January, 28, 2011 at approximately 11:25 p.m., uniform members were dispatched to the 700 block of Allegheny Drive regarding a stabbing incident.
Attending members located a 16 year old injured male who was being assisted by people in the area.
The investigation has revealed that the victim became involved in a minor dispute with several occupants within a residence. The victim eventually left the residence when a 28 year old male followed him outside. It was at this time a confrontation erupted and the 16 year old male was stabbed to the upper body. He was conveyed to hospital in unstable condition where he later succumbed to injuries sustained.
A 28 year old male has been arrested and remains in police custody.
The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.
