Oshawa Power guard drives to the net as Quebec Kebs forward James "Boo" Jackson looks on The Oshawa Power fall for the second time at home to the Quebec Kebs 93-83 at the General Motors Centre in downtown Oshawa.

The Power got off to a strong start for the second time in as many games as they jumped out to an early lead but couldn‟t sustain the effort as they finished the first quarter down 27-21.

“Tonight was energy,” said Mark Strickland after the game. “It‟s tough to play shorthanded; we had a tough time rebounding especially with Boo Jackson down low.”

The Power seized momentum after a Ralphy Holmes technical foul, going on a run that saw them tie things up, but that was as close as they would get to a victory on Tuesday night as the Kebs buried huge shots down the stretch to seal the victory.

Brandon Robinson upped his scoring in the absence of first overall draft pick Morgan Lewis, leading the Power in scoring with 17 points while adding 5 rebounds.

Omari Johnson rebounded well for the Power, notching a team high 16 boards to go along with his 13 points, however The Power gave up 21 offensive rebounds to the Kebs which led to 24 second chance points.

“It tough to get boards like that when you‟re under-manned. We just have to keep working, we have to mature.”

Ralphy Holmes bounced back from the technical that he received in the third quarter and scored 14 of his game high 21 points in the fourth quarter to seal the win for the Kebs.

The Power will now head on the road to Saint John for the first time this season as they have a date with the Mill Rats on December 1 tip is set for 7:00 p.m. ast The Kebs will continue their five game road trip as they head to Summerside to take on the Storm.
