The Toronto Raptors announced Thursday their schedule for the 2012 NBA Summer League. Toronto will play five games on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, July 13-19.

The 2012 NBA Summer League will feature a record 24 teams competing in a 60-game schedule July 13-22 at the Thomas & Mack Center and the COX Pavilion.

Toronto will open its schedule against the Houston Rockets on Friday, July 13. The Raptors will also face Miami (July 15), Dallas (July 16), Sacramento (July 18) and New York (July 19). Players and coaches will conduct a training camp in Las Vegas from July 10-12.

The Raptors finished the 2010 Summer League with a perfect 5-0 mark and led the league in scoring. The Raptors enter this year’s event on an eight-game unbeaten streak. Raptors assistant coaches Eric Hughes and Micah Nori will serve as co-coaches.

“NBA Summer League provides fans from around the league the unique opportunity to see some of the NBA’s brightest young stars competing in one location in a family-friendly environment,” said Gail Hunter, NBA Senior Vice President of Events and Attractions.

The 2012 NBA Summer League will showcase 13 of the top 14 picks in this year’s NBA Draft. NBA TV will televise all 60 games, including 39 live from both the Thomas & Mack Center and COX Pavilion. Games will also be available on digital platforms. Gatorade will support the 2012 NBA Summer League and serve as an Associate Partner.

Additional teams participating in the event include the Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics, Charlotte Bobcats, Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Minnesota Timberwolves, NBA D-League, New Orleans Hornets, New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards.
